Style matters. From fashion design to interior design
Gerardine Loggere is a real 'fabric-freak'. She studied fashion design at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and worked for many years for a well-known Dutch couturier, all the while creating hundreds of wedding and evening gowns through her own couture atelier right after graduating. She made the switch to interior decoration over 20 years ago, and her passion and affinity for fabrics has only grown. Whether it be fashion or interiors, her emphasis is on style, which is what she believes "truly matters".
She built her foundation in the Netherlands at two respected names in high-end interiors: four years at renowned design studio Wolterinck in Laren, and seven years at Loggere Wilpower, a leading Dutch agent for some of Europe's finest fabric and wallpaper houses. It was there, working hands-on with materials and discerning clients, that she developed her deep knowledge of fabrics and true quality. The groundwork for everything that came after, long before she started out on her own in the interior industry.
In 2011 she created Tatum Company, based in Singapore, and quickly expanded to Vietnam and Kuala Lumpur, where she operated as the sole distributor for some of Europe and the world's leading fabric and material brands. Over the years, she created numerous unique and personal interior projects, both private and commercial. Those years abroad gave her an international outlook that still shapes the way she works.
Today Gerardine works from the Netherlands, with projects across Europe and ongoing work in Spain. Not as a newcomer, but as someone who has seen the world and knows exactly what she is looking for. Her ambition remains the same: to ensure that every client feels immediately at home.
